I knew Phoenix had died in #137 but, though I\u2019d read all the way past John Byrne\u2019s run and into Dave Cockrum\u2019s return, I still hadn\u2019t found a copy of that issue &amp; thus didn\u2019t know the exact circumstances of her end.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Knowing I had X-Men fever, the manager of my comic shop suggested this issue \u2014 written by Jo Duffy, drawn by Jerry Bingham \u2014 as a temporary fix. I. Was. TRAUMATIZED.
