However, <a href=\"http:\/\/apelad.blogspot.com\/\"  title=\"Ape Lad\">Adam Koford<\/a>&#8216;s brilliant cartoons of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/apelad\/sets\/72157600296941365\/\" >Laugh-Out-Loud Cats<\/a> takes the idea, twists it around, and throws in a few more strokes of brilliance, and the result is both adorable and devious.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/apelad\/collections\/72157603486269567\/\" ><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"All yer bass\" src=\"https:\/\/ultrasparky.org\/blog\/img\/laugh-out-loud_cats_2.jpg\" width=\"100%\" height=\"310\"  vspace=\"5\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The basic gimmick as described at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/apelad\/sets\/72157600296941365\/\"  title=\"The Laugh-Out-Loud Cats\">Flickr archive<\/a> is:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>&#8220;From 1912-1913 he [grandfather Aloysius &#8220;Gorilla&#8221; Koford] produced a comic strip which was featured in 17 newspapers, including the Philadephia Star-Democrat, the Tampa Telegraph, and the Santa Fe Good-Newser. The strip was entitled &#8220;the Laugh-Out-Loud Cats&#8221; and featured the exploits of one Meowlin Q.
