Yesterday was a combination of nagging stomach issues, stupid <a title=\"WORST customer service ever\" href=\"http:\/\/www.attwireless.com\">AT&amp;T<\/a> <a title=\"Worse than average, these days\" href=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2003\/12\/05\/technology\/05phone.html\">problems<\/a> (FIVE hours on hold!), the ceiling at work springing a leak over my computer, (ruining a really cute outfit), and on and on and on. Mentally, I\u2019m finished for the week and just waiting to crawl back out of the snowstorm we\u2019re expecting. It\u2019s a real pain in the ass to deal with work when in my head I\u2019ve already retreated into a ball huddled beneath a blanket.<\/p>\n<p>Which, by the way, was how I spent most of the Thanksgiving weekend, thanks to the aforementioned nagging stomach issues. I was starting to suspect that the new <a title=\"Viread\" href=\"http:\/\/www.viread.com\/\">medicine<\/a> might be a big part of the problem, so I was really primed to be inundated by all the somber <a title=\"Yeah, it was December 1st, but I was preoccupied at the time\" href=\"http:\/\/www.worldaidsday.org\/\">World AIDS Day<\/a> programming that Tivo kept serving up. If I haven\u2019t been cramping, writing essays, or working this week, there\u2019s a good chance I was weepy and feeling sorry for myself.<\/p>\n<p>And I can\u2019t even eat ice cream to soothe the angst.
