A font walks into a bar

Believe it or not, corny jokes about typefaces are the kind of thing that are usually too geeky even for me. Nevertheless, I feel like I ought to just post something about this now before every other person in the universe starts sending me links to it, like they did with the font conference video. (I appreciate the thought, by the way. Don't get me wrong.) So here you go: Typographunnies. [Thanks, Brad.]

1) Lee: Uh-oh! Sorry for adding to your misery! Just remember, it's the thought that counts. How did the Waters show turn out? I saw him a couple of years back and he was hysterical. Hope yer feeling better. (Sep 19, 2008 12:26 PM)

2) Sparky: Oh, it was hardly misery, Lee — it was a cute clip, and sweet of people to think of me. It was just becoming ridiculous how many people kept sending me the link, so I thought I'd act quickly this time around. (Sep 19, 2008 1:04 PM)
