Architect Sign

Sign on an architect's office in Silverlake, Los Angeles. I believe these are the Neutraface letters sold by House Industries.

1) Stephen Coles: Hey Sparky. Nice to catch your blog. These look very similar to Neutraface, but not quite. The R is a bit off. Great find! (Feb 14, 2005 9:06 PM)

2) Sparky: Good catch on the "R," Stephen -- this one looks like it was made out of a more perfect circle than the Neutraface one. Hmmmm, I wonder how old these are, then? Or where they came from? (Feb 14, 2005 9:19 PM)

3) Stephen Coles: Because Neutra was an architect himself it may be somewhat common exterior lettering used by architects of the era. Perhaps this architect made the lettering for his own office! (Feb 19, 2005 5:04 PM)
